Cold showers not included. Vivica A. Fox is on a very sexy search as she selects a lucky group of hot men for her male exotic revue on the new Lifetime series Vivica's Black Magic, launching Wednesday, January 4. Watch the drama unfold above in the unscripted series' first trailer, which is exclusive to Us Weekly.
For her new business venture, Fox, 52, is launching a live male-dancer show, Black Magic, to provide the ultimate girls' night out, and the star hopes to take the revue to Las Vegas. The series, produced by Propagate, features the Independence Day star and two pals auditioning hundreds of hunks and winnowing the group down to fill just a handful of spots.
"I'm Vivica Fox, and I'm looking for seven badass exotic dancers," the Empire actress says in the promo. "It is so awesome for the shoe to be on the other foot — to tell them, 'Baby, now you need to keep it tight and right.'"
A tense scene shows Fox telling someone, "If I got to crack the whip, I will." Later, she appears to lose her cool as she informs her charges, "If you all was on a professional basketball team, you would get your ass cut. Well, that's gonna start happening now."
Among the guys throwing their hats (and all their other clothing) in the ring include Andrew "Penetration" Williams, a business owner and single dad from Compton, California, and Greg "White Chocolate" Jackson, whose father was a stripper.
